| Panchayat Elections 15th phase | | 78.29 % polling recorded in 9 CD blocks | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, JUNE 11- The 15th phase of Panchayat Elections-2011 concluded peacefully with large number of people exercising their right of franchise to elect 150 Sarpanches and 1003 Panches in 9 CD blocks of the state.
The Election was held in 29 Sarpanch and 213 Panch Constituencies in CD block Keller Partly district Shopian, 20 Sarpanch and 137 Panch Constituencies in CD block Kargil district Kargil, 13 Sarpanch and 98 Panch Constituencies in CD Block Sankoo district Kargil, 09 Sarpanch and 60 Panch Constituencies in CD Block Shaker Chiktan district Kargil, 09 Sarpanch and 71 Panch Constituencies in CD Block G M Pore (Trespone) district Kargil, 12 Sarpanch and 74 Panch Constituencies in CD Block Marwah district Kishtwar, 09 Sarpanch and 54 Panch Constituencies in CD Block Dachan district Kishtwar, 07 Sarpanch and 42 Panch in CD Block Warwan district Kishtwar and 42 Sarpanch and 254 Panch Constituencies in CD Block Bhaderwah district Doda.
The poll percentage remained 76 % in Keller Partly, 77 % in Kargil, 80 % in Sankoo, 80 % in Shaker Chiktan, 72 % in G M Pore (Trespone), 80.85 % in Marwah, 70.76 % in Dachan, 82.14 % in Warwan and 80.93 % in Bhaderwah with an overall percentage of 78.29 % in all these blocks.
