| Amit-Gani share Bani kesari dangal title | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 11: Wrestler Amit of Guru Hanuman Akhara Delhi and Gani of Doda shared the 107th annual Bani Kesari dangal title after the 26-minute long main bout ended in a draw at Devi Bani Mandir Manwal in district Udhampur.
Both these wrestlers shared Rs 12000 between them. The cash prize was jointly presented by president, J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Nand Kishore Sharma and Yash Paul Singh.This dangal was organised by Manwal Dangal Committee in association with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association.
In all, 46 bouts were played in this day-long dangal. Second main bout was won by Sukha of Rajasthan beating Sagar of Delhi. Third bout went to wrestler Onkar Singh of BSF (Kathua), who beat Satnam of Rajasthan while fourth bout between Pankaj Raina and Kulveer Singh ended in a draw. Kallu of Jammu defeated Ajeeta of Amritsar. In sixth bout, Parveen of Khanna outplayed Bobari of Jammu
