| DYSS’s ‘Saaz Aur Awaz’ competition concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 11: Part of annual calendar of activities, the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), the two-day divisional level inter-district `Saaz Aur Awaz’ competition concluded at Youth Hostel Nagrota, here today.
Young male and female artists drawn from six districts of Jammu division took part in the competition. The participating districts included Jammu, Udhampur, Samba, Poonch, Reasi and Ramban. The competition involved folk songs, folk dances and gazals etc.
The selected boys and girls out of this two-day competition shall leave state level competition at Srinagar tomorrow.
The competition was held under the overall supervision of Deputy Director DYSS, SS Bali, who was present in the concluding function.
