Molvi Masood Cricket: MCC Reds, Green Land win ties | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, June 11: The MCC Reds today entered the next round of ongoing Molvi Masood Cricket Tournament beating Pattan XI by 47 runs at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, here. Earlier, batting first, MCC Reds set a target of 240 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 40 over game. Mehraj hit 68 runs while Waseem Raseel contributed 67 runs and Ajaz Gani made 40 runs. From Pattan XI, Shameen took three wickets and Niyaz claimed two. In reply, Pattan were all out at 193 in 33.3 overs with Sameer being top scorer. He made 81 runs and Altaf added 39 runs. From MCC Reds, Azhar Ganai took three wickets and Ahsan Dar claimed two wickets. Meanwhile, in another match of the under-19 school boys’ cricket tournament, Green Land defeated Government Boys Higher Secondary School Nawa Kadal.
