| Bhagat Mahasabha to celebrate Kabir Jayanti | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 11: Bhagat Maha Sabha Samba in a press conference held today at Samba has appealed to the Bhagat birdhari to reach at Prade ground Jammu on 15th June 2011 to celebrate the Kabir sahib 613 jayanti.
Addressing the press media the general secretary of Sabha Kuldeep Bhagat said that the agenda of the birdhari is to pressurise the govt. for holiday on the eve of Kabir jayanti on 15th of june.
He said that in other states govt. all ready announced holiday on Kabir jayanti, but in J&K Bhagat population is 2nd after Muslim population.
So he appeal to the govt. to announce gazeted holiday on 15th june .
In the function all newly elected panch and sarpanch of the biradhri will be honoured and other K.A.S, I.A.S and I.P.S officers those who have been selected recently will be honoured by the Bhagat Maha Sabha.
