| JKGUF remembered Ghulam Rasool Asgar | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 11: The Jammu and Kashmir Gujjars United Front ( JKGUF) has remembered late Ghulam Rasool Asgar, a Philanthropist, a renowned Lawyer and a crusader who had fought for socio-political rights of Gujjar and Bakerwal of the State for his entire life on his first death anniversary.
In this connection, a meeting of the Front was held at its headquarters at Jammu which was presided by Shah Mohammad Chowdhary Advocate, president of the front.
While speaking in the meeting Chowdhary lauded the contributions made by late Agar for enlistment of Gujarat and Bacterial community in the state.
Chowdhary further said that late Asgar who was a great writer and a journalist also who always tried to fight for the cause of tribal community in the State.
Haji Hashim Ali, chairman of Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust, while speaking in the meeting said that due to untimely demise of Asgar, the Gujjar has lost a great leader and a void created by his death cannot be fulfilled.
Those present on the occasion were Showkat Javed, Showkat Parvez, Maqsood Ahmed, Abid Hussain, Mohammad Yusuf, Bashir Ahmed Noon, Mohammad Rafiq, Farooq Alam, Mohammad Alam Sarpanch and others.
