| Adventure Camp at Apple Kids concludes | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 12: The 10-day long Adventure Camp, organised by Apple Kids, International Pre School in Bantalab here concluded with the holding of valedictory function today.
During the camp which held in collaboration with Adventure Holidays India, the participants in the age group of three to 12 years were trained in sport climbing, beam balancing , Tarzan swing, rope knots, commando net and Burma bridge.
Besides adventure activities, over 80 participants from various schools enjoyed dance and music, Taekwando, yoga, splash pool, cooking, English speaking and a number of creative activities in art and craft.
Competitions in sport climbing, taekwando, dance, music, art and craft were also organized on different days of the camp and today the winners were felicitated.
The activities were held under the able guidance of Suraj Singh, Rajiv Sharma both national climbers, Marvi (art and craft), Gurinder Rakwal (Taekwando), Nitin Kumar (dance), Preeti Kesar (Music), Akshi Sharma (spoken english), Neha Datta and Ritesh Sajotra.
While Principal of the school, Puja Sharma distributed medals to the winners of the various competitions, Assistant Director Doordarshan, Sanjit Khajuria delivered an interesting lecture on personality development.

Singing Competition: Bhuvnesh Bhan and Vaibhavi Sharma of Sprawling Buds School, 1st and 2nd respectively and Namya Sharma of Presentation Convent School, 3rd.
Burma Bridge Crossing: Krishna Gupta of Apple Kids International Pre School, 1st; Arjun Singh of Sprawling Buds School, 2nd and Pragun Khajuria of Sprawling Buds School, 3rd. Commando Net Climbing: Nikhil Bhagat and Nikhil Sharma of Sprawling Buds School, 1st and 2nd and Devansh of Shakti Public School, 3rd.
