| Shoaib Lone meets Karan Singh, Fotedar | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar , June 12: Former MLA Sangrama and president J&K PYC Shoaib Nabi Lone met senior Congress leaders Karan Singh and M.L.Fotedar on their visit to Kashmir.
Lone while welcoming the leaders said that both the leaders have their importance and key role in the development of the state.
He discussed various important issues with the leaders and apprised them of the present political situation of the state.
Besides making the leaders aware about the ongoing developmental process in the state, Lone discussed functioning of Government and the expectation of the masses. He apprised the leaders about the steps being taken by the center and state government for socio-economic development, maintenance of peace and tranquility and the prevailing politico-economic scenario in the state.
The status and progress of the dialogue process between the interlocutors on Kashmir and various shades of public opinion in the state was also discussed in the meeting.
Lone also underlined the need for enhancing the current year’s plan allocations for the state to ensure equitable and holistic development of all regions and sub-regions in the state and stressed on early redresseal of unemployment problem.
