| PDP express concern over the damage to crops by hail storm | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, June 12 : PDP has expressed deep concern over the damage to the crops and the fruits caused by hailstorm in various parts of the valley particularly in the rural areas like Dara, Saida pora , Chaterhama and Khimber of Sonwar Constituency.
In a statement PDP district president & MLC Mohd Ashraf Mir said that recent hailstorm has done severe damage to the crops and the fruits like Cherry in particular resulting huge loss to the farmers and fruit growers.
He stressed for immediate assessment of loss and adequate compensation to the effected farmers and fruit growers.
