| IQAC Kathua organizes annual meet | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua , June 12: Internal quality assurance cell (IQAC) of Government Degree College Kathua today organized annual meet in the college auditorium.
Manohar Lal Sharma, MoS Higher education Minister for Co-operatives election, stationery, finance, planning, science and technology was the chief guest.
The function was presided over by Charanjit Singh MLA Kathua and Subash Gupta MLC was the guest of honour.
SSP Kathua J.L Sharma also graced the occasion. Principal of other colleges, retired professors, prominent citizens, students and staff of the college were among others who graced the function.
The chief guest along others VIPs released the newsletter of the college which was prepared by the IQAC.
A book titled “Tar Saptak Ki Kalatamakta” authored by T.R. Sharma was also released on this occasion. It was followed by the Saraswati Vandana. The students presented a colourful bonanza which bewitched the audience.
Manohar Lal in his address appreciated the efforts of the staff and students of the college in making a mark of excellence in the state not only in academics but also in sports, NCC and NSS activities.
He particularly referred to the top positions bagged by the students of this college in the university results and chief guest honoured the position holders with prizes. |
