Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jun 12: Buddha Amarnath Baba Amarnath Yatri Niyas (BABAYN) has out rightly refused the allegation that Niyas had entered into a secret understanding with the state government over the commencement of Amarnath Yatra.
President of BABA Yatri Niyas Madan Mohan Aggarwal out rightly refused the allegations while briefing the media during a press conference held at Geeta Bhawan Jammu. He said that process of dialogue was stalled after the statement of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in which he had categorically announced that no pilgrim shall be allowed at any cost to go for Amarnath Yatra before June 29.
Aggarwal said that state government may have managed some people and taken them to Srinagar, but they are not members of Yatri Niyas and we have nothing to do with them. Aggarwal said that BABA Yatri Niyas shall start Amarnath Yatra from Jammu on June 14 and perform Darshan of Shri Amarnath at Holy Cave Shrine on June 15. He added that thousands of devotees shall come to participate in this yatra not only from Jammu but also from various other states.
Aggarwal said that if Amarnath Yatra does not start on Jayeshth Purnima and the Pratham Darshan Pooja is not performed at Holy Cave on that day by SASB, it will prove beyond any shadow of doubt that functioning of SASB is against the sentiments of Hindu community.
He further informed that BABA Yatri Niyas shall organise a function tomorrow at Ranbireshwar Mandir, Shalimar Road Jammu in which Rudrabhishek and Jalabhishek ceremonies shall be performed for the safe and peaceful conduct of this Yatra in which Saints of Shavisam sect from various “AKHARAS” are arriving to participate in this function in Jammu on 13th June 2011 to participate in this yatra which is going to start on 14th June.
Prominent among those who were also present in the press conference included Dr. Surinder Kumar Jain, National Spokesperson of V.H.P., Dr. Ramakant Dubey, President V.H.P. J&K State,Retd. Sec. Judge Sh. K.K. Paroch, Sh. Karan Singh Charak, Gen Secretary BABA Yatri Niyas, Dr. V.K. Gupta, President V.H.P Jammu Mahanagar.
