| Common man should be provided with best health care: Kundal | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 13: A programme was organized at the district hospital Samba to review the scenario of health department. The half yearly meeting was chaired by MLA Samba Yashpal Kundal, Chairman Rogi Kalyan Samiti.
MLA reviewed the health related development works and funds disbursed by the district health department under Rogi Kalyan Samiti. All the BMO’s of 4 blocks Samba, Vijaypur, Purmandle and Ghagwal alongwith Chief Medical Officer Javed Chib also attended the meeting.
Chairman of the Samiti, expressed his dissatisfaction towards health department.
MLA samba was informed by CMO Javed Chib that there is lack of staff in district hospital which is the main hurdle in the proper functioning of the hospital. Even the primary health centres including Sumb, Nud, Bain Glar and Dagod are in worst condition and no health wards and health employees including doctors are available in the said premises.
MLA directs the health department to improve common health needs of common man in the Samba district.
