| DPS organizing shooting camp | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jun 13: Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu in collaboration with J&K Rifle Association has started inter-school competition in newly constructed air conditioned shooting range in the premises of school on June 13 which will continue upto June 23.
Shooting range was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dilbag Singh, IPS Inspector General of Police Jammu by shooting the first shot in presence of VIPS, the Principal Sudarshan Sonar, Administrative Staff, Headmistress Primary Wing, Co-ordinators, Teaching and Non-teaching Staff, the school students, their worthy parents and above all participating candidates from the Jammu province.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Dilbag Singh appreciated the School Management for taking a bold step in promoting the above said activity in the J&K State for the welfare of the interested/deserving candidates to enable them to get an opportunity to compete at National Level. Singh even said that the Management of Delhi Public School Jammu has taken a lead in this regard by creating a History among the Educational Institutions of J&K State. Further Singh assured for every help to the school whenever required both from J&K Rifle Association and Jammu Police.
