JAMMU, June 13: Savita Bakshi Additional Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages today interacted with the participants children of the summer workshop at K.L Sehgal Hall, Cultural Academy Complex, Jammu..
On the occasion of the commencement of the one month summer Children workshop Bakshi a renowned Sitar teacher and performer of the Jammu & Kashmir State while interacting with participants children of the theater workshop sensitive the children about themselves and their surroundings.
She also shared about the role and importance of music from pre-birth to last breath of the human as in the circle of the nature and the human both are very associated and music in term of rhythm as it play a great role.
While sharing she said that the music is a very colorful thread woven into the entire fabric of our lives. Soon after birth we hear our first melodies as our mothers hum soothing lullabies to help us sleep.
In every step of our lives music places another brick on the foundation of who we are. Music helps each one of us find our unique social niche, bringing us together with other folks that share similar interest .
