| Refrain from handing sports complex to CRPF : Sports Committee | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 13: Management Committee-Panch Mukhi Sports Complex, old Dhaunthli, Jammu (W.No. 1) has appealed the administration to refrain from handing-over the complex to CRPF during the Shri Amarnath yatra as it will deprive scores of youngsters from availing the facility.
While making the appeal Shatnrughan Jamwal stated that this complex was inaugurated in the month of January 2010 and since then large number of youth from the city daily visit.
“This facility is being is used by common youngsters as they cannot afford the luxury of joining private gyms who charge substantial fee for importing training to the young people”, he pointed
In this context he urged the administration to house the contingent of the para-military forces in the community halls owned by the Jammu Municipal Corporation such as Jambu Lochan Hall and Ambedkar Hall where they have adequate sanitation facilities besides these personnel’s can be housed in Distt Police lines or in Gulshan Ground of the State Police. He expressed the hope that the local administration will arise to the sentiments of sports loving youngsters who have contributed to make this complex functional by installing the equipment and shall utilize other facilities which are readily available to them.
