| ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES | | |
JAMMU, Nov 23
J&K ITCO proposes to organize three Technology based Entrepreneurship Development Programmes(EDPs) on Plastic, Packaging and Food Industries. These Programmes of six day duration each at Jammu and Kathua will be organized for the benefit of the youth who have studies Science and Technology. The Programme is being sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
The main objective of these programmes is to identify and motivate the Youth to seek self-employment by way of setting up of their own small scale industrial ventures/business activities in Plastic/packaging/food products.
During the training programme, the selected participants would be provided necessary support and guidance in the selection of their projects, preparation of project report as well as other aspects pertaining to the planning and launching of projects of selected by Candidates.
The Candidates in the age group of 18-35 years and having strong desire to set up Plastic/Packaging/Food Technology based units and possessing Bachelor’s Degree in any branch of Science or Plastic/Packaging/Food Technology or equivalent Diploma/Degree in any branch of Engineering are eligible to apply. Selection of trainees will b done through screening of applications followed by personal interviews by the Selection Committee constituted for the purpose.
For Plastic Technology based Technical Entrepreneurship Development Programme(TEDP) at Jammu, the last date of receipt of applications is 28th November,2006. For Packaging Technology based TEDP at Jammu, the last date for receipt of applications is 12th December,2006. In case of Food Technology based TEDP at Kathua, the last date for receipt of applications is 16th January,2007. The Interviews will be held respectively on 29th November, 2006, 13th December, 2006 and 17th January,2007 respectively.
Candidates interested in participating in these programmes should submit their applications along-with their bio-data to Sr. Consultant(EMR) J&K, ITCO,17 B/B, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu-18004.
J&K ITCO has clarified that no separate call letters will be issued to the applicants for appearing in the interview.
