Chopra family murders: Court extends police remand of Wazir brothers | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 14: Special mobile magistrate excise (duty magistrate) Jatinder Singh Jamwal has extended police remanded of Trilochan Singh Wazir and his brother Ajab Singh Wazir in the Chopra family murders till June 18. They were produced in the court by SIT member RK Angral with the plea to extend their police remand by 10 days. The judge said since the investigation of the case appeared to be in initialstage, the accused were remanded to police custody till June 18, 2011. A direction was also issued to produce them before the competent court oflaw after the expiry of remand period. He also directed SIT that the accused be subjected to regular medical examination underrules and in case medical care by an expert was required, it should be made available to them. Court also allowed the family members of the accused to meet them once a day. |
