Kishtwar, June 14: The police have launched a massive manhunt to nab the culprits who attacked former SDM Kishtwar.
The former SDM and Social Worker from Kishtwar, Advocate Khurshid Ahmed Dev was attacked Sunday evening by persons who have been identified , the police claimed.
The accused include, two army jawans , the police said.The police said on the basis of investigation, the Motorcycle used by the attackers had been identified. It bears registration No JK06-2721.Police said that army has also been informed about theinvolvement of army Jawan in attack on Dev. Police hoped thatafter the arrest of the 3 identified accused, the other persons involved in this attack will also get identified.
The accused have been identified as Karan KumarSon of Lachman Das Resident of Begana Kishtwar (Army Jawan posted in Dogra Regiment Meerut (UP)), Shakti Kumar Son of Subash Chander Resident of Kotwal Mohallah Kishtwar (TA Army Jawan posted in intelligence wing of 159 TA) and Kamal Jeet Son of Chuni Lal Resident of Begana Kishtwar.
The seized Motor Cycle without number plate belongs to Shakti Kumar. Medical report of Khurshid Ahmed Dev confirms dislocation of bone in left hand wrist. |
