CJ inspects legal aid clinics in Ang | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, June 15: Acting Chief Justice of J&K High Court Justicem Justice F M Ibrahim Kalif-ul-llah today inspected legal aid clinics recently established at district court complex Anantnag. On this occasion, addressing to para legal aid volunteers and the nominated lawyers for providing free legal aid and advices at legal aid clinics highlighted objectives of these free legal aid clinics setup to provide free legal aid to down trodden, living under BPL and other economically weaker sections immediately. He urged upon volunteers to visit far flung areas and work as a bridge between legal experts and the deserving legal aid persons. Justice Kalif-ul-llah said that such free legal clinics would also be established at Tehsil levels so that without wasting any time and money the backward and needy people could get justice at their door steps. Later, Chief Justice also had an interaction with Bar Association of Anantnag and asked them for providing free legal aid to down trodden and those living under BPL etc. Among others, District Development Commissioner Anantnag Syed Kifayat Hussian Rizvi, DIG South Shafqat Watali, Sr. Judges, District Officers and advocate fraternity was also present on the occasion. |
