| SPCB organizes public hearing | | | Early Times Report
REASI, JUNE 15 - State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) organized a public hearing for environment clearance of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board's rope way project of martial and passenger. The function was organized at village Siar Dhabri about 7 KM from Katra, the base camp of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine.
Over 500 people all across the adjoining villages including Aghar Jitto, Garan Didi, Pangal Chanyara, Kotli participated in the function.
In the public hearing the detail studies and project report were presented by M/S Rites India Ltd, as consultant for the project. During the hearing a lots of quires pour in, at which Additional Chief Executive Officer, SMVDSB, Dr. M K Bhandri replied to the general public.
The detail video recording and report of the Public hearing will be submitted to the Minister for Environmental, Government of India for further course of action.
The function presided by Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, P K Pole.
Among other present on the occasion included Regional Director SPCB Jammu Shokat Chowdary, General Manager, DIC Reasi, Krishan lal, Dy. CEO SMVDSB Rishpal Singh, DO SPCB Reasi Angrez Singh, AEE SPCB Jammu Yash Paul and representative of Rites India Ltd.
