| Friends Club wins by 7 wkts in T20 | | | Early Times Report
DODA, June 15: Friends Cricket Club (FCC) Ghat today registered an impressive seven wickets win over Azhar Cricket Club Bhaderwah in the 7th Gurfan Memorial Twenty20 Cricket Tournament underway at Sports Stadium, here.
Batting first, after winning the toss and decided to bat, Azhar Club made 109 runs losing all their wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Zhir and Ali were main contributors with 39 and 17 runs respectively while Nizam and Vipan took three and two wickets respectively from FCC.
In reply, Friends Club chased the total in 15 overs. Vipan played match winning innings of 54 runs while Shadab contributed 10. From Azhar Club, ACCB Tahir and Babar took one wicket each.
Later, Vipan of FCC was adjudged man of the match. Today’s match was officiated by Subash Mathur, Sanjay Singh, Yasir Dar and Javeed Thukar.
