Cache of arms, ammunition recovered from Kupwara district, Gunmen kills youth | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR : A 25-year-old youth was killed by unidentified gunmen in south Kashmir district of Shopian late last night and security forces have recovered another cache of arms and ammunition from Kupwara district of Kashmir valley where two militant hideouts were busted during the last 24 hours. Official sources said here today that a group of gunmen entered the house of Manzoor Ahmad at Veshroo Keller and dragged him out. Despite resistance from his family members, gunmen shot at and critically wounded Manzoor outside his house. He was immediately rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead. The gunmen managed to escape, they said and added a massive hunt has been launched to nab the killers. Troops of 19 Rajput of Army unearthed an arms dump during search operations at Behak area near the Line of Control (LoC) in Trehgam, 130 kms from here, officials said. The fresh recoveries included four AK 47 rifles, four magazines, 111 rounds, two pistols, two magazines, 30 hand grenades, four mortar bombs, two RPG rounds, six UBGL grenades and 10 rounds, they aid. However, no one has been arrested during the operations conducted as part of strict vigil being maintained by Army to frustrate any attempt by militants to sneak into the Valley from across the border, they said
