| Cultural Academy honours PoK scholar | | |

Eminent scholar of Gojri language from Pakistan occupied Kashmir, Rana Fazal Hussain was today honored by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and language in recognition to his literary services and contribution in the field of culture and languages.
The function was organized in the Abhinave theatre complex, Jammu which was chaired by prominent Gojar leader and former Minister Main Altaf Ahmed. Eminent writers of Gojri, Dogri, Pahari, Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi were present on the occasion.
Dr. Rafeeq Masoodui, Secretary Academy in his welcome speech, said that it is the endeavor of the Academy to honour Rana Fazal Hussain who has immensely contributed to various languages especially Gojri and through this cultural dialogue the writers across the line of control will interact with each other enabling them to have a glimpse of various trends which are prevalent in Gojri. He appreciated efforts of Rana Fazal in popularizing Gojri language. |
