| Court frames corruption charges against former Head Master | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June-16 (JNF):- Additional Sessions Judge Anticorruption Jammu has framed corruption charges against Satish Chander then Head Master Govt High School Kha who was caught red-handed by the VOJ while accepting bribe Rs 20,000/- from the complainant.According to the VOJ case that complainant Nissar Hussain lodged a written complaint against Satish Chander Head Master Govt
High School Kha No-1 that he is serving as teacher in the said school.
Due to shortage of staff in the said school, he is holding different
charges in the school. During April 2009 due to some wrong information
he had charged excess fee from the students which could not be
adjusted in any school record.
On this an enquiry was initiated against Nissar Hussain by the Head Master Satish Chander. The said Head Master is demanded Rs 60,000 as bribe from the complainant to hush-up the enquiry. The matter was settled at Rs 50,000. In the month of January, 2010 1st Installment Rs 30,000 as bribe was paid to said Head Master by him and the rest amount of 20,000 was settled to be Paid on March 10, 2010. On this complaint VOJ constituted a trap team and laid trap and caught red-handed Satish Chander Head Master while he was accepting illegal gratification of Rs 20,000 from the complainant and registered a case.
The court after the parties framed corruption charges against Satish Chander Head Master u/s 5(1) (d) of J&K PC Act and section 161 RPC. JNF
