| About 30,000 devotees visited Agar Baba Jittoo | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATRA, JUNE 16- About 30,000 devotees from within and outside the state visited at the shrine of Shri Baba Jittoo in district Reasi during the three day fair which concluded at Agar Jittoo here today.
A vishal dangal was also organized on the concluded day by Agar Jittoo Dangal Committee in association with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association under the aegis of Shiv Kumar Sharma, President.
On the occasion of Jaist Pornima, hundreds of ladies took bath in the water falling from the hill side which is considered very beneficial for the childless ladies and those suffering from various ailments.
Last evening a Shoba yatra was also taken from Gouni Ghar to Baba Jittoo Shrine in which thousands of people participated from within and outside the area.
The district administration has made elaborate arrangements which mainly include safe drinking water, interrupted power supply, security and parking arrangements, etc to facilitate the visiting devotees. The Administration has also made adequate arrangements for those who participated in wrestling competition besides Police department has made all necessary arrangement for the smooth conduct of the fair.
The DDC Reasi Mr. P. K. Pole who was the chief guest on the occasion gives away gurz and other material to wrestler Kamaljot of Khanna who won final bout by defeating Wrestler Yodha of Amritsar.
Senior officers of District Administrations, officers from Police, Sarpanches, Panches and prominent persons of the areas were present on the occasion.
