Big 90-run win for Satwari Club in Narinder Cricket | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, June 16: Satwari Cantonment Cricket Club (SCCC) today registered an impressive 90-run win over Talab Tillo Cricket Club (TTCC) in the inaugural match of the Narinder Sharma (Shanga) Memorial Cricket Tournament for non-affiliated clubs, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) at MA Stadium, here. Batting first, after winning the toss, SCCC set a target of 209 runs for the loss of eight wickets in allotted 30 overs. Parshotam was top scorer with 77-ball 82 runs including eight boundaries while Sahil contributed 43 runs and Ashwani added 19-ball 22. From TTCC, Varinder, Gulzar and Mahesh shared two wickets each. Later, chasing the target, Talab Tillo Club bowled out for 118 runs in 25.3 overs thus lost the match by a huge margin of 90 runs. Gulzar remained top scorer with 37-ball 50 runs while Mahesh contributed 23. Lakhan was most successful who took three wickets for nine runs in 3.3 overs while Sahil also bowled well clinching three wickets for 21 runs in four overs. Parshotam, who earlier batted well bagged two wickets.
