| Vakil hails Kalam’s 9 Mission Programme for making J&K a developed state | | | Srinagar, July 30 – MLC and Vice President J&K Pradesh Congress Committee Mr. Abdul Gani Vakil has hailed the visit of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam to the state and appreciated his address to the Joint Session of Legislature, Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of J&K High Court, President’s valuable address.
Mr. Vakil in a statement said that it is the sincere efforts of the Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad that state have become a venue for such big events. Holding of interaction involving great intellectuals and luminaries would help in chalking out a road map for bringing complete peace and prosperity in the state.
He said that all of us should follow the advice of President’s Nine Mission Programme to achieve his dream and work with dedication and honestly for a developed and Khushal state.
Mr. Vakil also hailed the participation of Judges and Jurists of the nation in Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of Jammu and Kashmir High Court. He said that by their valuable ideas and suggestions presented during the celebration of diamond jubilee would help the judiciary of the state to further improve dispensation of justice to the people of the state. He said jubilee celebrations would open a chapter in the judicial era of the state.
Mr. Vakil said these events became possible by the sincere efforts of Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad. He called upon the people to contribute their bit in realizing uniform development of the people for making Jammu and Kashmir a Khushal and model state of the country. He said that it was the endeavour of Mr. Azad that creation of new districts and fourteen new tehsils have been set up in the state for the uniform development of the people living in far off and backward area. He said that the present government is committed to provide basic amenities, good governance and corruption free administration to the people of the state. He said the steps taken so far in this direction are starting to borne fruit. He said at present developmental projects are under execution in every nook and corner of the state for providing succour to the people of the state. |
