BJP to hold public meetings | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, June 16: Bharatiya Janata Party, in the state, will hold district level programmes by organizing public meetings in the coming days over the issues of corruption, bringing back money into the country and attack on democracy.
BJP State President Shamsher Singh Manhas disclosed this while taking stock of the preparations made in connection with the forthcoming 2-day Working Committee Meeting of Jammu & Kashmir BJP to be held at Sarore on June 18 and 19 this month. Manhas said that the BJP has been continuously organizing agitations for the past few months on the important issues like curbing corruption, black money and attack on democracy in all the parts of the country.
In the next phase, this agitation will be further intensified by organising programmes of holding public meetings from June 23rd to June 26 at the district level too.
Manhas further said that the party holds state level meeting of its working committee members drawn from all the parts of the state after an interval of 3-4 months in which threadbare discussions are held in cordial atmosphere and suggestions sought from the participants for further strengthening the party at grassroots level besides finalizing the programmes to be undertaken in the future.
He said that J&K is the state where we come across new developments and being a responsible political party at national level it becomes more important on our part to keep vigil on all such developments and chalk out further course of action which strengthens the nationalists forces and defeats the nefarious designs of all such forces which work to weaken the state’s bonds with the Indian Union.
