JAMMU, June 16: Under the instructions from Sh. S.C Sawhney Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Jammu, the enforcement Staff led by the Chief Enforcement Officer alongwith police force while continuing the drive to clear the footpaths / pavements and part of road sides etc visited the areas of Indira Chowk, BC Road, Shallamar Road, Kacchi Chowni, Ambphalla, Vinayak Bazar, below Gumat etc. During the drive the goods /articles like coolers, tarpals, chairs, benches, tools, iron stands, utensils, tables, etc were seized which were placed by the shopkeepers/ vendors on the footpaths, pavements and parts of roads in these areas.
- The Jammu Municipal Corporation appeals to the shopkeepers to keep their goods within their shops/establishments to avoid seizure of these goods and penalty for such defaults.
