| Sr Billiards: Semis position cleared | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 16: Semifinals line-up has been drawn with the entry of four top cueists in the last four stages of the senior billiards event of the ongoing 21st State Billiards and Snooker Championship at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
Those made it to the quarterfinals states are Vishal Abrol, Jaideep Manocha, Sohail Khalid and Kamal Rohmetra.
Earlier, in the quarterfinals, played today, Jaideep faced tough resistance from Sumesh Turki while Kamal, Sohail and Vishal had straight frames win.
The Detailed Results: Quarterfinals: Kamal Rohmetra bt Abhimanyu Arora 2-0 (100-41, 100-29); Sohail Khalid bt Himanshu Phaul 2-0 (100-51, 100-41); Jaideep Manocha bt Sumesh Turki 2-1 (100-65, 89-100, 100-75); Vishal Abrol bt. Mohit Mahajan 2-0 (100-86, 100-60).
