| PDP to hold organizational elections from Aug 1 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, June 17 (KNS): Opposition Peoples Democratic Party is holding organizational elections from August 1.
The organizational elections of the PDP are held after every three years to elect the office bearers at different organizational levels which culminate with the election of party president.
A spokesman of the PDP said that the elections for Kashmir division will begin from August 1 while in Jammu division it will start from August 3.
“The process will be completed within one month,” he added.
To conduct smooth elections party leaders Ved Prakash Gupta, Muratza Ahmad Khan, Dhaman Bhasin, Shanti Devi, Abdul Haq Khan, Qazi Mohammad Afzal and Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura have been nominated as returning officers while Baldev Salathia, Flail Singh, M Hussain Ali Wafa, A R Zawoora, Mohammad Ashraf Mir and Saif-ud-Din Bhat as observers.
