| UCC wins thriller in Molvi Masood Cricket | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, June 17: Outplaying Bejbehara Sports by a wafer thin margin of one-run, UCC today won the thriller to advance in the ongoing 3rd Molvi Masood Cricket Tournament, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, here.
Despite a brilliant century (106 runs) made by Mir Imran, Bejbehara could not win the tie.
Earlier, after winning the toss and decided to bat first, UCC set a target of 241 runs for the loss of nine wickets in allotted 40 overs. Besides Mir Imran, Amir Sofi and Huvaid also played well contributing 68 and 46 runs respectively. From Bejbehara, Beg Nadeem claimed three wickets.
In reply, Bejbehara Sports fell short of one run to match the opponent total losing all their wickets in given 40 overs. Mir Imran scored 106 runs while Amir Aziz took three wickets from UCC.
