| SCIA discuss issues of paramount importance | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu,June 17: A delegation of the Small Scale Industries Association, Digiana led by its President Jitendra Aul today called on Director Industries and Commerce, Jammu BS Dua in his office chamber to discuss variety of issues of paramount importance including regular supply of power.
General secretary of the Association Anil Modi, during the formal meeting also put forward the urgent and important demands listed by the association members for their early redressal.
Demand for regular power supply up to maximum 20 hours figured on top of the agenda of the members of the association as it is of paramount importance to boost production and minimise losses.
During the meeting the Director Industries and commerce was urged upon to take up their case with Chief Engineer PDD (M&RE) wing to restore 20 hours regular power supply to Industrial estate Digiana as per the government policy.
The members of the association during their interaction with the senior officer highlighted their grievances on account of erratic power schedule and demanded that a separate power line should be arranged to feed only the Industrial estate.
