| People fires on youth | | |
UDHAMPUR, NOV 23
A group of people fired upon a youth in the town causing injuries on his neck and the miscreants fled away after leaving their victim in a pool of blood.
According to reports, some youths fired on Rajinder Singh alias Ramboo S/O Ujagal Singh of Udhampur with a pistol when he was returning home as a result of he received injuries on his neck and the attackers fled from the spot after committing the crime .On hearing gun shots, locals rushed to the spot and saw Rajinder Singh in a pool of blood and informed police. The police shifted him to Udhampur hospital for treatment from where he was referred to Government Medical College for specialized treatment. During questioning the victim Rajinder Singh is reported to have disclosed the names of youth involved in the attack .Those named included Lucky, Adit , Sanju and some of their other associates .
According to sources one of the alleged accused Sanju, is reported to have been arrested by the police while search for others is on.
According to sources, they were playing snooker and over some trivial issue they used abusive language and even assaulted each other.
The police has registered a case against the alleged accused and started investigations, the reports said.
