| All India Junior National Wrestling Championship begins | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 17:
All India 30th (male) Junior National Championship and 13th (female) Junior National Championship commenced here today at University of Jammu.
The three day event, in which wrestlers from 28 states of the country as well as grapplers from BSF and Railways are participating, will conclude on June 19.
Union Minister for Sports Ajay Maken inaugurated the opening ceremony. Minister for Youth Services and Sports R.S Chib was also present on the occasion.
More than 600 Wrestlers and 200 Officials, Coaches, Referees, Judges and technical Staff of WFl have reached Jammu to participate in the Tournament. On the first day of the tournament final bouts in three weight categories (i.e. FS/GR, 55, 66 and 84 Kgs and Female Weights 48, 55 and 63 Kgs were held.
