| Bundelkhand University issuing fake degrees, alleges JKNPP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 17:
Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) has expressed surprise over the functioning of some fake education institutions allegedly affiliated to the Universities functioning out of Jammu and Kashmir state by years together under the nose of state administration, amassing huge amount of money and spoiling the career of innocent students by issuing fake degree and diplomas to them
State Vice President JKNPP Daljeet Singh alleged that some colleges in Jammu Division under the name and style of distance education are affiliated to Bundelkhand University Jhansi. Large numbers of students got enrolled in these colleges in different courses and the degrees and diplomas were issued to the pass out students by theses colleges.
He further said a large number of students got employment in different departments of governments. Unfortunately on the verification of the credentials of these boys the fraud of fake degrees and diplomas was surfaced. It is unfortunate that instead of taking action against the owner of these fake colleges the Jammu and Kashmir police registered cases against the innocent students of these colleges. They are harassed by the police without their fault and have to secure bails from the honorable courts.
Daljit Singh urged upon the state government to ascertain the genuineness of these education institutions functioning in the state allegedly affiliated to different universities functioning outside the state of Jammu and Kashmir. He also demanded an enquiry into the issuance of fake degrees and diplomas by the distance education of K.R. college and computers, Maharishi Sanjeevini Academy, Chak Singla Thati, Deluxe coaching centre Talab-Tillo by high power committee/ crime branch of the state and register a criminal case against the culprits who are playing with the career of the innocent students of the Jammu and Kashmir and punish them.
