| Colonels colony residents rue erratic power supply | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 17:
Colonels colony welfare committee held a meeting under the chairmanship of Angrez Singh, President of the committee, In the meeting worst supply of electricity and its bad management was one of the core issue of meeting. Speaking on the occasion Vijay Chikan complained about the damaged cables which can cause an accident any time for which electric Deptt will be responsible. He further cautioned the deptt to remove all illegal & unlogical connections, provided to other areas, which causes damage to transformer every now & then & leave the public for burning in this scorching heat.
Mohan Singh, sr vice president of the committee, while lambasting the PDD said that chief engineer has already been made aware of the factual position but plight of the colony is as it is
Angrez Singh requested PDD & R&B authorities to make arrangement to redress the agony of the masses otherwise, people will be forced to come on streets.
