| Oasis summer camp concludes at Jodhamal Public School | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 17: Two weeks long “Oasis summer camp” was concluded today at Jodhamal Public School. The event created a buzz among the students. It made the vacation time of children memorable, filled with pleasant and joyful activities and at the same time a learning experience too.
To bring the summer camp to a happy end, Grand Finale was held up at
the school premises. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Sumeet, a theatre personality.
The closing ceremony included demonstrations in swimming, Taekwondo, Aerobics and Yoga etc.
The art and craft department displayed their food craft and various things made of waste products.
The stage presentation included Goan Folk Dance, Classical Dance, Hip Hop and Disco Dance by troupes of dancers.
Display of orchestra band, Taekwondo and dramatical representation of a group of students in personality development were the key aspects of the Summer Camp.
Different Ragas and Alaps sung by the students of vocal music stole the hearts of the audience.
Aerobics – a musical way to fitness was presented by a group of students. Little chefs of Home Science presented the laying out of table and prepared quick to serve food items on the stage.
The certificates of participation were distributed among the children by the chief guest.
The chief guest spoke a few words of encouragement and appreciated the talents of the students.

Later, chasing a target of 173 runs, SP College bundled out for 149 runs in 30 overs. From City Lions, Sohail was most successful bowler who took five wickets.
For his match winning spell, Sohail was declared man of the match.
