| SBI’s specialized 5MB branch opened | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 17:
With the aim of providing world class financial services to the industries and large trading units operating in Jammu, State Bank of India today opened its specialized 5MB Branch in the Railhead Complex Area of the city. The branch was inaugurated by A. Krishna Kumar, MD and Group Executive (National Banking) in the presence of S K Sehgal, Chief General Manager, Chandigarh Circle.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Kumar described the role State Bank of India has played over the years in the growth of 5MB units throughout the country and how changing with the times, the bank has come up with the concept of Specialized Services for specific segments of customers. Kumar added that Jammu has been identified as an area with good potential in the 5MB segment considering the entrepreneurial nature of the people and in order to support their initiatives the bank has decided to open a specialized 5MB branch in the city. In his address, Sehgal congratulated Ashok Gupta, DGM Jammu on this initiative and informed the gathering that a team of dynamic specialized officers with Neeraj Gupta as the Branch Head has been identified with the purpose of offering tailor-made solutions to the customers. The new SBI branch will cater to customers with borrowing limit of Rs 1 crore and above with the bank and will offer services like Sanction of High Value Business Loans, Cash Management etc under a single roof.
