UDHAMPUR, NOV 23
Acting on the complaints regarding misappropriation of foodgrains by the officials of Rural Development Department in block Chenani of district Udhampur, the Additional District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Mr. Khurshid Ahmed Bhat suspended three officials with immediate effect.
The suspended officials included Panchayat Inspector, Mr. Romesh Dass, Village Level Worker, Mr. Krishan Chand and Storekeeper, Mr. Azaz Ahmed.
Pending inquiry would be conducted by the Deputy Director Administration, Directorate of Rural Development Jammu. The suspended officials would remain attached in the office of Assistant Commissioner, Development, Udhampur’s office.
