JAMMU, JUNE 18-The general public of Hiranagar, Ghagwal, Samba, Bishnah areas have been asked to avoid standing near the 220 KV D/C Hiranagar-Bishnah transmission line as it shall be test charged on June 19, 2011 from 8 am onwards.
Chief Engineer, PDD has advised people not to camp under the line and keep their valuable life stocks away from line during the test charging. No effort should be made to trespass the corridor of the line or deliberate attempt to climb the tower during charged condition, he added.
In tehsil Bishnah, the villages to be affected include Chak Hasla, Chak Subey, Partapsingh Pura, Kothey Sainia and Lalyana, in tehsil Samba include Gho Manhasan, Gho Brahmana, Gadwal, Balouri, Kotli, Gargit, Mandera, Palona Badyal, Randwal and Nonath and in tehsil Hiranagar the villages include Chhan Khatriana, Kootah, Batda Rasana, Satoora and Bhaiya.
