State plunged into unprecedented crises due to NC failure: PDP

Jammu, 17 June 2011: Calling upon people to oppose wrong policies of thecoalition government headed by National Conference, Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) today said that present regime has failed to solve day today problems of the common masses.
Addressing a public meeting at ward number 11 of Jammu East Assembly Segment, senior PDP leader and former member of the Legislative Council Ved Mahajan said that state has been plunged into crises due to failure of the government to respond to the woes of the masses. He especially mentioned
towards total breakdown of the power and water supply system in Jammu region during scorching heat.
Mahajan said that during the last two and half years this regime has done nothing to solve problems of the masses. He said that achievements of this government appeared only on papers but on ground nothing is visible.
Mahajan said that in the urban areas people are not getting ration, drinking and water supply. “If the same is situation in urban areas, one can better understand gravity of the situation in the rural areas”, he said and added that present regime is one of the worst every corrupt and anti-people
government in the history of the Jammu and Kashmir. “It is high time to come on roads to oppose wrong policies of this regime”, he asserted and assured the party workers that PDP would not remain as a mute spectators to the misdeeds of this regime.
Senior party leader Vijay Dogra while addressing the meeting corruption has crossed all limits. She dubbed the present regime anti-poor and worst ever corrupt government the state has witnessed so far. She said that since its formation this regime has been indulged into anti-people policies because
those at the helm of the affairs are not aware of the ground realities. She further observed that present regime has been functioning without any programme and policy. One and the only aim of this government is to mint money through illegal means, she said.
Rangil Singh, T S Bajwa, Thakur Balbir Singh, Ved Mahajan, Daman Bhasin, Fallail Singh, Rajinder anhas, Ashok Jogi, Surjit Kour, Vijya Dogra, Sohnal Mahajan, Vikram Singh, Daljit Singh Dicky, K K Sharm a, B D Gorkha and other senior leaders were present when they joined PDP.
