| Court extends police remand of Wazir Brothers upto June 23 | | Chopra Family Murder | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June-18 (JNF):- The 3rd Additional Munsiff Jammu (Duty Magistrate) Sandeep Gandotra today extended police remand of Tirlochan Singh Wazir alias Tallo Ex-MLC National Conference and Ajab Singh Wazir upto June 23, 2011.
CPO Mr. Pawan Khajuria and SP RK Angral filed an application seeking further custody of Tirlochan Singh Wazir alias Tallo and Ajab Singh Wazir in the much publicized brutual murder case of Cement Tycoon RB Chopra, his wife Madhu Chopra, his daughter Solani Chopra, Driver Jagan Nath and House Servant Sonu on September 18, 2006.
The Court after perusing the case dairy in which it has been mentioned that accused persons are involved in a case FIR NO 107/2006 for the offences under sections 302/396/120-B/109/201 of RPC and said that investigation of the case appears to be at initial stage. The accused are remanded to police custody till June 23, 2011 with the direction that they be produced before the competent court of law after the expiry of remand period.
It is worth mentioning here that Tirlochan Singh Wazir alias Tallo Ex-MLC National Conference and Ajab Singh Wazir were arrested on June 9, 2011 after the statement of Surinder Singh alias Kala before the Sub-Judge Jammu. JNFJNF/JUNE/18/2011/1
