| Private Schools , ETT Institutions felicitate Chairman, Secretary JKBOSE | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 18:
United Front Association of Private Schools & ETT Institutions, J&K State today organised a function to felicitate Dr. Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Chairman J&K Board of School Education (JKBOSE), Dr. M.S.Baloria, Secretary JKBOSE and G.A. Quereshi, Director School Education.
The programme was organized under the presidentship of A.K.Kapoor-President Jammu Division and Prof. C.L. Vishan- President Kashmir Division of the association.
Dr. Arun Gupta, Chairman MIER College of Education and Patron United Front Association presented the welcome address and congratulated the association for taking great step ahead in felicitating the newly elevated Chairman and Secretary J&KBOSE. He added that these officers have given their head and heart in uplifting the standard of education in the State.
A.K. Kapoor, President of Jammu Division during his address congratulated the Chairman and Secretary BOSE for their recent elevation. Kapoor said that Dr. Bashir who has served in the BOSE first as Director Academics then Secretary, rightly deserved the Chairman post as he during his previous tenures in the BOSE has streamlined the various departments and also directed the private as well as government institutions for providing quality education.
On the occasion, Kapoor also presented a memorandum to chairman JKBOSE highlighting the problems faced by ETT Institutions and Private Schools.
Prof C.L. Vishan, President of Kashmir Division during his address spoke on the problems faced by the Schools and ETT Institution in Kashmir. He said that BOSE has done great job in the previous years under the dynamic leadership of Bashir and association seeks further cooperation from the authorities to function smoothly in the valley.
G.A. Quereshi, Director School Education, Jammu expressed his gratitude for the felicitation. He said that Private Sector has always been considered as the supportive pillar of education.
Dr. M.S.Baloria, Secretary J&KBOSE while speaking on the occasion extended his venerations to the association for organizing such a wonderful function and expressed deep satisfaction for their honour. Dr. Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Chairman J&KBOSE lauded the role of the association under the dynamic leadership of A.K.Kapoor in uplifting the standard of education. He said that the problems raised by the association are genuine and will be considered on priority.
