| 2 hospitalised after alleged police torture | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 18: Two youth, who were allegedly tortured by Bishnah police on the suspicion of their involvement in a murder case, were admitted to the GMC hospital here today.
They were identified as Bittu and Manohar Lal, a watchman. They were picked up by police for their suspicious role in the murder of Avtar Singh of Bishnah.
However, when subjected to interrogation, they became unconscious.
They were later admitted by police to the GMC hospital where their treatment was on.
A senior police officer said they were apprehended by Bishnah police after Avtar's father Tirath Singh named them in the incident.
