Omar wants a break!
6/19/2011 12:04:24 AM
Early Times Report
Jammu, June 18: The Chief Minister wants a break! Normally a person who faces danger of losing his job cannot ask for a break. But Omar posted an appeal on Twitter seeking a day off.
Omar is just back from New Delhi. He met the Prime Minister who assured him a full term. A relaxed Omar, therefore, wants to go for a holiday.
But Omar has many reasons to worry about. The issue of rotational Chief Ministership has to be decided by the Congress Party and not by the Prime Minister. And, Omar knows senior Congress leaders want their pound of flesh. How can Omar, therefore, go for a break? He has to do a lot of home work.
And by the way Omar remains online 24x7 on his favorite social networking website tweeter. Occasionally he `refreshes' himself by playing games on his Blackberry. The promise of Bijli (electricity, pani (water) and Sadak (roads) has not been fulfilled till date. The people, therefore, reject his request for a day off although some generous persons have appreciated his hard work and granted him a holiday.
