| Vijay Lochan re-elected Chairman Dalit Mahasabha | | |

All J&K Dalit Maha Sabha, under the chairmanship of vijay Kumar Magotra hold a meeting to re-constitute executive body of Dalit Maha Sabha.
The meeting was attended by prominent members of Dalit Samaj and unanimously Vijay Kumar Lochan was elected chairman of Dalit Maha Sabha. Members also elected 11 new members.
Speaking on the occasion, the chairman Lochan assured the members that Sabha will fight for genuine cause of Dalit Samaj. He said no attention is paid towards the genuine demands of Dalits in the state, which include amendment of SRO 294.
In the meeting member expressed anguish towards poor water and electricity supply in Dalit Bastis. They urged upon the concerned authorities to restore water and electricity immediately in those areas.
Members also demanded that without further dearly old age pension to senior citizens of the Dalit Samaj he granted and enhancement of scholarship to schedule caste students in view of price hike.
