| Cricket tourney organized in Handwara | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, June 19 (KNS): A mega cricket tournament was organized in Handwara in which large number of teams from district Kupwara participated.
The tournament was organized by Handwara XI under the supervision of Mushtaq Banday. The tournament was won by Handwara Sports team defeated Handwara XI in the final in a closely contested match to lift the trophy.
On the closing ceremony the chief guest Iqbal Lone, a well-known social entrepreneur, distributed prizes among the winner and runner up teams.
The final match was witnessed by hundreds of people. Prominent among them included Ashiq Hussain Nazir Lone, Asif Lone, Raja Muneeb, Nazir Dar, Ajaz Mir and Yousf Bhat.
