| Cache of arms, ammunition recovered | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 19:Security forces today recovered a cache of arms and explosives from a natural hideout of the militants in the forests of Phuklan Top falling in Doda district.
The army officials said that based on intelligence inputs, the joint column of Ex-21 CIIU and 159 Infantry TA Battalion laid a seage in the forests of Phuklan Top and it was followed by massive searches.
During the searches, the army officials said, the search parties intercepted a natural hideout and they recovered one 303 rifle with its one magazine and nine bullets, 13 bullets of Sniper rifle ammunition, 97 bullets of 7.62 mm ammunition, one RC IED switch, one tarpaulin, one syntax (found buried) and a letter pad.
