JYF demands CBI enquiry in JKCA’S financial bungling: | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 19: The activists of Jammu Youth Forum protest against the fraudulent and sloppy administration of JKCA and burnt the effigy of Aslam Goni Chairman of Association. Sandeep Singh Chib President JYF demanded CBI enquiry in the financial clumsy taking place in the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA). He blamed JKCA chairman, Mohd Aslam Goni for pressurizing some working committee members of JKCA from affiliated government institutions to vote in his favour during the working committee meeting to be held on June 23 at Srinagar. Sandeep Singh Chib President JYF took a strong note of the tall claims made by the chairman with regard to initiating development work of the proposed Cricket Stadium at Bajalta, Jammu in the first week of June and failing in the same. He further said that no such initiative has yet been taken by the JKCA and added that Jammu has always been abandoned by the authorities and the same is happening yet again, as JKCA has established Cricket Academy in Kashmir and nothing in Jammu. For that matter, nothing positive has so far been done by the chairman of JKCA, who, otherwise, talks high of the works done by him for good health of the association, he added. The members present in the protest said that Goni was pressuring voters from government institutions to vote in his favour in order to rein the kingdom and rule the settle yet again. However, they advised such voters not to crust under any kind of pressure. Ridiculing JKCA for financial bungling, the JYF members demanded CBI enquiry in the matter at an earliest to save the association from getting blemished and soiled. Meanwhile, the JYF members appealed the JKCA president, Dr Farooq Abdullah and the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to look into the matter seriously and put aside the association. Among those who were present in the protest included Sonu Kumar, Raj Kamal Sharma, Imran, Rocky, Surinder Singh, Jyoti Sharma, Renu Sharma, Shallu Kumari, Amjad, Atul Gupta and others.
